Marks & Spencer is always working hard to keep its offerings fresh and appealing, and they’ve just taken a bold step in that direction. They recently added iconic brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger to their ‘Brands at M&S’ online platform, marking yet another move to elevate their style credentials while attracting a broader range of customers. For anyone who loves fashion, this is definitely a game changer.

The new collection includes a curated selection of must-have items for both men and women in categories like underwear, lingerie, loungewear, and swimwear. You’ll find Calvin Klein’s beloved Icon Stretch range, which is known for its comfort and timeless aesthetics, alongside stylish pieces from Tommy Hilfiger’s much-anticipated spring 2025 collection. There’s even more to look forward to as additional styles from Tommy Hilfiger are set to drop later this year, promising to keep our wardrobes as stylish as they are comfortable.

It’s worth noting that M&S leads the market in the UK when it comes to underwear. They boast impressive stats, selling a bra every two seconds and with one in five men opting to buy their underwear from them. That’s quite a feat! By partnering with premium brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, M&S is not just playing to its strengths but actively working to strengthen its already solid foothold in the thriving £295 million UK underwear market. In fact, their sales of third-party underwear have seen a remarkable jump of 21% over the past year. That’s not just luck; it’s the result of a solid strategy and understanding what customers want.

The ‘Brands at M&S’ platform is shaping up to be quite the hub for fashion lovers, now featuring over 100 third-party brand partners. Adding Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger is a strategic move intended to attract more male shoppers, as M&S recognizes that just 13.5% of their core menswear customers are currently engaged with this platform. This is a huge opportunity.

Nishi Mahajan, M&S’s director of third-party brands in clothing and home, expressed the excitement surrounding these new additions. “We’re thrilled to welcome globally recognized brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger to our Brands at M&S platform,” she stated. These brands don’t just expand their menswear selection; they make them more relatable and relevant to a wider audience.

Mahajan is confident these partnerships will not only complement the existing underwear collections for men and women but also help M&S to broaden its customer appeal while maintaining its leading market position. They’re not just looking to sell clothes; they want to become the go-to destination for stylish and quality underwear, enabling shoppers to feel great both inside and out. So, whether you’re a die-hard M&S fan or just on the lookout for some stylish additions to your wardrobe, keep an eye out for these new collections—they might just have exactly what you need to feel your best.
