Linda Gumus Gerritsen is taking charge at Vogue Netherlands. Following her appointment as editor-in-chief, taking over from Yeliz Cice, the magazine’s previous fashion director has introduced notable figures such as Malgosia Bela and Ugbad Abdi to its covers. As 2025 begins, Jill Kortleve returns as a cover model for the January/February issue. Since emerging on the modeling scene around 2019, the Dutch stunner is highlighted on two striking covers. For this edition, she is photographed by Walter Pierre, with styling by Ali Javaid. On the first cover (below), Jill is seen bundled up in a piece from the inaugural Alexander McQueen collection by Seán McGirr, and for the second cover (after the jump), she showcases a sleek monochrome look from Lacoste.
Jill Kortleve for Vogue Netherlands January/February 2025:
“Weird, both of them,” immediately remarked oaklee91.
“No, and no,” added VogueDisciple93.
“Jill Kortleve is really trying to exude fierceness but it falls short. An amateur could do it better. At least the second cover works,” expressed svpernova.
Xone was also critical, stating: “Nothing here works. The concept of the first cover is decent, but Jill Kortleve ruins it. No talent!”
However, some viewers had a different perspective. “I like the first cover,” noted WAVES.
“I really appreciate the first cover; I would even say it’s some of Jill Kortleve’s finest work. She appears stunning, the gaze is captivating, and the beauty styling complements her presence. The voluminous Alexander McQueen piece has been beautifully captured,” shared vogue28.
